Stay Connected to Aunt Lute
Thank you to all the readers, educators, and fans who have supported us over the decades! There are many ways to stay connected to our mission. While we’ll always be an advocate of curling up with
our books in your favorite armchair, we also have a number of ways to stay connected to us online, as you can see to the right.
To learn about our newest releases, promotions/discounts, upcoming events, and author news, sign up for our quarterly email newsletter (link coming soon). You can subscribe to our News & Notes (or simply check back on our website periodically) for shorter updates about awards, author reviews, events, and the like.
Since 1989, Aunt Lute’s internship program has offered more than one hundred women the opportunity to learn more about book publishing in a nonprofit context while connecting to women’s, LGBTQ, and multicultural issues and communities. Interns are an integral part of our diverse collective of women. Luters—our affectionate moniker for members of our community—support the Operations, Editing, and Marketing departments. Many interns apply the skills they develop at Aunt Lute to their future careers as writers, educators, artists, and leaders.
We look for interns who have an interest in multicultural women’s literature, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and are flexible, motivated, and able to work independently.
