On May first we sent out a newsletter announcing our fundraiser. The goal: to raise $10,000 by July 1st. This directly funds the salary of two of our most essential employees for three months.
In the midst of a global pandemic, Aunt Lute's commitment to serving our community by publishing the writings of marginalized peoples remains steadfast. But we need your help to do it.
For 38 years, Aunt Lute has worked tirelessly to empower the voices silenced by patriarchy and racism. These same voices are the ones made most vulnerable by crises. If we do not continue to tell their stories in times of hardship, we erase their experiences and perpetuate discrimination.
