Good Girls Marry Doctors: South Asian American Daughters on Obedience and Rebellion, a new anthology edited by Piyali Bhattacharya, received an excellent review in Khabar Magazine! Novelist Anjali Enjeti delved into the what makes Good Girls Marry Doctors such a success. She writes:

As the narratives unspool, the contributors come to realize they have always been good girls, good daughters, good mothers, good sisters, that goodness itself is in the eye of the beholder, and that a culturally derived goodness should never override one’s sense of self-worth or self-determination.
