A Simple Revolution reviewed by The Gay & Lesbian Review

November 12, 2013

We are pleased to announce that Judy Grahn’s A Simple Revolution, one of Aunt Lute’s most recent releases, has received a glowing review by Mary Meriam in The Gay & Lesbian Review. In her review, Meriam praises Grahn’s award-winning memoir for capturing the women’s and gay liberation movements of the 1970’s so fully and expressively “in her characteristic blend of humility and confidence.” She goes on to commend Grahn and her role in shaping these movements, writing that “Grahn is in full strength in her memoir and uses her apocalyptic poetic insights to recount the epic adventure of creating a world that respects and cherishes women, lesbians, and lesbian poetry.”
