American Indian Film Festival November 1-10

The 38th Annual American Indian Film Festival begins November 1 in San Francisco. Since its inception in 1975, the American Indian Film Institute has worked to empower American Indian filmmakers in their quest to bring their stories to the American Indian community, as well as mainstream and international audiences.

The festival will kick off with Skye & Chang, a “female-buddy martial-arts sci-fi mash-up with awesome Aboriginal superpowers” and Chasing Shakespeare, a “love story for all time.” The festival will close with the American Indian Motion Picture Awards Show on Sunday, November 10 at the San Francisco Jazz Center. Be sure to check out the program for the full list of films.

Tickets are available.
